Terms of Use

Effective date: March 1, 2026

1. Service

ForeverQR provides a free web tool for creating static and dynamic QR codes. Features may be updated, improved, or removed over time.

2. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes. You are responsible for all content and destinations encoded in QR codes you generate. Adult or explicit destinations are not allowed and may be blocked or removed.

3. Dynamic links

Dynamic QR management uses a private edit link. Anyone with that link can change the destination. You are responsible for storing and sharing that link securely.

4. Security and rate limits

To protect reliability, ForeverQR uses automated abuse controls. This includes request rate limits on create, manage, update, and scan traffic, and temporary throttling during suspicious spikes. These controls may block or delay requests even for valid users.

5. Intellectual property

Site branding, layout, and source code remain the property of ForeverQR (or its licensors). Generated QR files may be used by you for lawful personal or commercial use.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance. Availability may be affected by maintenance, outages, abuse controls, or third-party provider issues.

7. No warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You should test QR codes in your real-world usage context before publishing or printing.

8. Liability limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForeverQR is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

11. Contact

For legal or policy requests only, use the support route at /contact.
