QR Code Guides
This guide hub explains what to encode, when dynamic is worth using, and how to keep real-world scans reliable. It is built to help you choose the right QR setup quickly, then open the generator with a clear plan instead of guessing.
Start with the destination, not the design
Before you choose colors, icons, or shapes, decide what the scan should actually do. A QR code works best when the destination removes friction for the person scanning it.
- Use a Website URL for campaigns, bookings, product pages, and simple redirects.
- Use PDF for brochures, menus, handouts, and printed reference material.
- Use Wi-Fi or vCard when the goal is one-tap joining or one-tap contact saving.
Decide whether you need static or dynamic
Static QR codes are best when the destination is permanent. Dynamic QR codes are better when the printed code may outlive the first link behind it.
- Choose static for stable destinations that are unlikely to change.
- Choose dynamic for menus, campaigns, event links, app pages, and seasonal content.
- Save the private manage link immediately if you generate a dynamic code.

Before you print a batch
Run a real scan test
Test on at least two phones, from the distance a real person will stand, and under the lighting your material will actually be used in. It is the fastest way to catch dense patterns, low contrast, or a logo that is too dominant.
Keep the destination trustworthy
The landing page matters as much as the code. Mobile-friendly destinations, fast loading pages, and clear next steps generally outperform a good-looking QR that opens a slow or confusing page.
